Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Class 10th (Secondary School Examination) from a recognized board with passing marks in Mathematics and English. Proficiency in the local language of the opted postal circle up to the 10th standard is mandatory.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of the closing date of application submission.
Age Relaxations: Upper age limits are relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for PwBD applicants.
Additional Skills: Basic computer knowledge, cycling skills, and the ability to manage handheld electronic devices are required.
Application Fee Details
Fee Amount: ₹100 for General, OBC, and EWS male applicants.
Exemptions: All female applicants, SC/ST candidates, PwBD applicants, and transwomen are fully exempted from paying any application fee.

Salary Structure & Pay Scale (TRCA)
Branch Postmaster (BPM): ₹12,000 to ₹29,380 per month
Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) / Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 to ₹24,470 per month
Selection Procedure There is no written test or interview. Selection is processed automatically via a system-generated merit list calculated from the percentage/marks secured in the Class 10th standard board exams across four decimal places. Shortlisted candidates are subsequently invited for physical document verification.
